The Best Of Matthieu Blazy’s Bottega Veneta In The Pages Of British Vogue

It’s the news that the fashion world was waiting for: Matthieu Blazy is leaving Bottega Veneta, after an inordinately successful three years at the helm. From the trompe-l’œil white tank top and jeans that were – somehow, mind-bogglingly – made out of leather to the exquisite fringed skirts from autumn/winter 2024, the Belgian designer has put a renewed focus on craftsmanship at the Italian fashion house – and put his own name firmly on the map.

His singular vision has won him a legion of fans, including A-listers like Julianne Moore, Jacob Elordi and A$AP Rocky, many of whom have worn his designs on the red carpet, and carried his highly coveted accessories, from the Andiamo bag to the Sardine. Plus, he’s made fashion fun(!) again – who could forget the animal beanbags from his final show in September, each carefully selected according to the guest sat on it.

Below, revisit Blazy’s best Bottega moments in the pages of British Vogue.
