Turns out it’s crazy easy to make an armor stand for your cosplay. Took me about $40 of PVC and a few hours but I’m sure you could do it in less with a smaller armor set or proportions. I still need to add some filler to the arms and adjust the legs but as a base, it’s a really cool display piece.
For the process, I just measured roughly my actual height and length of limbs and replicated that in a rectangular frame. Add some support stands going backward out of the “waist” and it ends up pretty sturdy.
