Rachel Zegler is on a roll. The 23-year-old actress is booked and busy and has been on a non-stop media tour. From last year’s hit prequel Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes to this year’s leading role on Broadway in Romeo + Juliet, the star is everywhere. And it seems her domination isn’t stopping anytime soon.
On November 11, 2024, Zelger attended the New York premiere of her new Netflix movie Spellbound. In the animated project, Zegler plays Ellian, Princess of the Lumbria Kingdom. The story follows Zegler’s character on a whirlwind magical journey. A powerful spell turns her parents into giant monsters, and Ellian must venture into the wild to reverse the curse before it’s too late. The movie is scheduled for release on Netflix on November 22, 2024, and of course she had to wear a ‘fit fit for a princess to the premiere.
For the Spellbound premiere, she opted for a Harris Reed spring 2025 dress, leaning into the regality of her new rising stardom. The structured mini dress fell mid-thigh. Its sleeves were connected and turned into gloves, making for a very dramatic fashion moment. To give it an extra whimsical touch, the white dress was covered in black flowers throughout.

She completed her look with a simple black pointed-toe stiletto heels and kept her makeup simple, donning a nude lip colour. She opted out of wearing a necklace — an often controversial choice in the fashion space — and she wore an updo with her bangs curled, framing her face.

As Rachel Zegler manages to swipe up major movie deals back-to-back, we’re starting to see her a lot more in the spotlight. She is slowly but surely showing us what her personal style looks like and how it translates to red carpet premieres. We can only wait to see what she’ll wear in the coming months leading up to her Disney Princess press tour as she makes her Disney debut as Snow White in March of 2025.
