Nicole Kidman Upgrades Sheer Trend in Ornate D&G Gown


Nicole Kidman served elegance and grace at the premiere of Netflix’s “Spellbound” in New York City. The animated musical adventure is set to hit the streaming platform later this month, and the stars associated with the project have begun promotional activities. The cast of “Spellbound” recently graced the New York premiere of the film. Meanwhile, Kidman looked dreamy as she upgraded the sheer trend with an ornate Dolce and Gabbana gown for the event.

As per Harper’s Bazaar, Nicole Kidman wore a Dolce and Gabbana gown at the New York event of Netflix’s upcoming film “Spellbound.” The stunning sheer dress is made out of tulle illusion fabric and adorned with delicate embroidery. The swirling floral ornate continues throughout the floor-length and full-sleeved piece. Moreover, Kidman added coverage underneath the see-through gown with a strapped white mini dress-like base. 

In addition, Kidman kept her accessories simple for the occasion and opted for bejeweled rings and earrings. The actor completed the ensemble with black pointed-toe pumps. Besides that, she wore her signature blonde hair down, styled in beautiful mermaid waves.

Kidman attended the New York event of “Spellbound” alongside her co-stars including Rachel Zegler, Javier Bardem, Jenifer Lewis, Nathan Lane, Tituss Burgess, and Olga Merediz. Kidman joins as the voice behind Queen Ellsmere, a character in the animated film. “Spellbound” follows the adventures of Princess Ellian, who goes on a daring quest to save her family and kingdom after a spell transforms her parents into monsters. 

At the premiere of “Spellbound,” Nicole Kidman spoke to Entertainment Tonight and shared, “Just fun to be doing something completely different.” Meanwhile, Bardem also gushed over working with Kidman. He said, “The fact that you’re working with someone that is so open to try different things.”
