British menswear retailer Moss is opening a new store at 149-151 Victoria Street in south west London on 21 November 2024, set over two floors and in keeping with the brand’s new direction and rebranding from Moss Bros.
Earlier this year, Moss opened new stores in prime locations in Edinburgh, Gloucester Quays and Bluewater in Kent, and the latest London opening is coinciding with refurbishments and rebrands of its stores in Salisbury and the Metrocentre in Gateshead, which reopened on 31 October and 1 November, respectively.
Other stores currently being refurbished and rebranded are Moss in Uxbridge, set to reopen on 21 November, Rushden Lakes (23 November), Winchester (28 November) and Cambridge – with a date to be confirmed.
Brian Brick, CEO at Moss, said: “Our people are the heart of our success. Our store expansion is a testament to their dedication and expertise. We’re incredibly excited about the future of Moss – despite a challenging retail environment, we’ve made bold moves to innovate and grow.
“Our drive reflects our belief in the strength of the Moss brand and our vision to deliver contemporary, versatile menswear. Across our ready-to-wear collections, hire and custom-made offerings, we’re committed to delivering the highest standard of service. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter.”
Ally Ewan, Head of Retail at Moss, added: “We’ve identified prime locations with strong customer bases, including our latest addition to the store portfolio in London Victoria. We’ve invested in creating spaces that are not only beautiful but provide a seamless shopping experience.
“It’s a major investment (rebranding over 100 stores), no doubt, but it’s crucial for ensuring that Moss is represented consistently across the UK. Our goal is to move swiftly but thoughtfully, updating our stores to reflect the new brand while maintaining the high quality service and expertise our customers expect.
“It’s about setting the stage for Moss to be the go to menswear destination everywhere.”
