I have a jacket that was purchased from 5-11 years ago. It has a fleece exterior but is fully lined with rayon or nylon or some other satiny fabric, including the sleeves. I don’t think this ads much warmth, but probably a modicum of wind resistance – the big plus with the lining is that it eases taking the jacket on and off – especially if you have a torn rotator cuff. This is a three season jacket.
It is getting a little “long-in-the-tooth” and will need to be replaced, but try as I might…
