First time voter

Hi all. It’s my first time voting. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to early vote, so I’ll have to brave the lines tomorrow. I have no idea what to expect. Can y’all help me out? Will I be waiting for hours if I go after work? What do I expect in line? What do I need to do? How does the actual voting work, do I use a computer? When I was a kid, I imagined it like scantrons, but I imagine that’s too outdated now. What else do I need to know?

I know these might be silly questions, but I’m neurodivergent, and don’t like going into situations where I don’t know what to expect. And I hate that I have to go alone. My partner has to vote in Wilco, so we can’t go together.
