Claude Montana’s Autumn/Winter 1991 show for his eponymous brand took place at Paris Fashion Week. Montana was also designing for Lanvin at this time. This collection was partly inspired by retro science-fiction evident through bright colors and sixties swing and shift silhouettes, and plastic headwear alongside sophisticated black tailoring. Accessories included leather gloves and make-up featured frosted pink lips and exaggerated cat-eyes worn with sleek hair styles.
