Check out 2025’s tile of the year, made in Italy

Made up of three different natural stones, including one from Italy’s Puglia region, Beaumont Tiles’ Crossland collection has been named its 2025 tile of the year.

The three stones, two of which are a type of limestone, and the third being the iconic travertine, have been uniquely combined with the emphasis on a realistic emulation of both colour and surface texture.

The Crossland collection was crafted in Italy and comes in three different colours, all of which are enhanced by mosaics and 3D decorations.

Beaumont Tiles production design expert, Darren Brittain, said the the detailed and unique design of Crossland exudes a calming elegance, making it a seamless fit for the modern Australian lifestyle.

“Just like cheese and wine combined elevate each other to a new level, so too does the fusion of the natural beauty of limestone with travertine,” Darren said.

Match (above) headlines the collection. It has a high variation, bold pitting and stone movement, with limestone inspired patterns. “It’s all about intrigue and drama,” Darren said.

Next is Dune (above), a tile evoking sandy beach vibes. It holds more calming tones, a softer variation and subtle pitting and stone movement, all of which create a feel of serenity.

Pearl (above) is the final colour variant. It has a lighter tone and delicate surface variations, creating a sense of softness and serenity. It is also versatile, coming in 3D lineal decor and mosaic options.

The Crossland collection is also built to last. Highly durable, it is perfect for high-traffic areas like living rooms, ensuring your renovation will stand the test of time in both style and function.
