Brunello Cucinelli sees sales uplift of 12.2% and forecasts strong future growth

Italian fashion brand Brunello Cucinelli has reported revenues of £1.07 billion (€1.27 billion) in its preliminary figures for 2024, with growth of 12.2% at current exchange rates and 12.4% at constant exchange rates, compared to 2023.

The luxury brand, which has four stores in London including its flagship at 135-137 New Bond Street, has seen sales rise by 17.8% in the Americas, 6.6% in Europe and 12.6% in Asia, with retail sales up 14% and wholesale sales up 8.8% – with a turnover of £359 million (€427.2 million) accounting for 33.4% of sales.

Looking ahead, the company is “very confident” about its growth plans in the coming years. Referring to 2025, it highlights the “beautiful order book” and the positive initial sales of its SS25 collections.

Initial reactions and orders taken for the AW25 women’s pre-collection, which was in showrooms from early December 2024, were also positive.

As a result of “great opportunities” now arising for the brand, combined with exclusive positioning and “promising prospects in all geographical areas and distribution channels”, Bruno Cucinelli’s goal is for 10% growth for 2025 and 2026, with the intention of doubling 2023’s turnover by 2030.

Brunello Cucinelli, Executive Chairman and Creative Director of the Casa di Moda, said: “We are very pleased and delighted with the close of the year 2024 for our Casa di Moda, as we achieved excellent revenue growth of 12.2% at current exchange rates (+12.4% at constant exchange rates) compared to 2023. Given the high quality of sales, we anticipate very strong profits.

“It has been a particularly meaningful year for consolidating our style and identity, firmly anchored in the concept of absolute luxury characterised by exclusivity, quality, and craftsmanship.”

Brunello Cucinelli founded his couture house in 1978, originally specialising in Mongolian cashmere garments for women before expanding into full collections for both men and women.
