Is Frontier Airlines an actual airline or just a scam?

Any one else on flight F9 4212 from Austin to Atlanta. What the fuck was that?

Flight initially was set to depart at 6:30 PM. Airplane had mechanical issues and they had us waiting at the gate for 3 hours while multiple people worked on the aircraft.

Finally they tell us we can board the plane. Once on the plane we proceed to wait an additional 2 hours with absolutely no updates. Apparently theres a problem with the paperwork and they have the mechanics return. Mechanics run in and out of the airplane to the cockpit multiple times. They’re closing and reopening the air plane door. At this point even the staff are looking frustrated. it doesn’t help that half of the plane is full of UT football fans, with a few obviously intoxicated. People in the plane are getting uneasy, rowdy, and yelling. “Whats going on?” “Is the plane safe to fly?” People demand with no answers in reply. A handful of people request to get off the plane. One passenger even stating that the plane not taking off is a sign from God. Another 20 min pass. At 11:40 PM we finally hear from the pilot. They regret to inform us that we’re not leaving today. Everyone unboards the plane.

Right now there’s ongoing delays, with the flight rescheduled to leave mid-day Saturday. Unfortunately the journey doesn’t end there. Basically the entirety of the plane lines up to the front desk. People asking for a refund on their ticket are given a phone number to a line that doesn’t pick up. Customer support is non-existent.

I’m really wondering – has anyone been on a successful flight with Frontier? Is it some big scam to have you pay for a ticket to a flight that never happens with no way to get your money back???
