Winter Warmth with Youer Go There Fleece Legging

When it comes to staying warm in the bitter, bitter cold, fleece is often a tried-and-true baselayer. I’m currently assessing my gear for a winter trip to Alaska, and I’m ensuring that all my clothing items both allow for flexibility of movement and keep me warm.

Some of my chosen baselayers for this trip are Youer Go There Fleece Leggings.

The leggings are made from a toasty recycled 90% poly and 10% spandex bland that’s plush on the inside and jersey knit on the outside. The waistband is a recycled 82% poly and 28% spandex blend. An expanded sizing range for these leggings span from XS to XXL, ensuring that many body types can benefit.

After testing in a variety of conditions, these leggings are extremely comfortable while also being flexible enough for yoga, winter running, or even as a baselayer for skiing or climbing. Two large side pockets are roomy enough for your phone or an old-school map.

Youer is a women-run clothing brand in Missoula, Montana, that cares about making clothes in a responsible way that avoids exploiting people and the planet. The brand is extremely open about sustainability in its supply chain, and founder Mallory Ottariano gave a TedX talk in 2023 about what the price of clothing tells us about the social and environmental impacts of our consumption.

Pair your leggings with Youer’s beloved Treasure Dress, a comfortable hoody with a long fit, including a kangaroo pocket, thumbholes, and stretchy sides. Wear them both while hitting the trails, hanging out in town, and even snoozing indoors near a warm winter fire.

Go There Fleece Leggings come in a variety of options from prints (Oh Whale, Littering And) to solids (Solstice, Nightshade), all for $132 on the Youer site.
