Homelessness charity Crisis is opening a Christmas pop-up – running from 9-14 December at 28 Old Burlington Street in London’s Mayfair – with wardrobe donations from Kate Moss, Liam Gallagher, Minnie Driver and David Gandy.
Shoppers will also have the chance to enter a raffle to win selected top items, and there will be old stock and samples on sale donated from Savile Row tailors, including Anderson & Sheppard, Huntsman, Dege & Skinner, Norton & Sons, Scabal and Gieves & Hawkes.
There will also be a wide selection of designer brand donations, including from Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Moschino, Vivienne Westwood, Hackett London, Tod’s, Barbour, Sunspel and Mr. Porter, as well as 100 watches donated by Watches of Switzerland Group.
There’s been an ongoing yearly relationship between Savile Row and Crisis since 2018 when the first Pop-Up Crisis week-long shop opened in the first week of December. This is the fifth iteration (there was a year missed due to the pandemic).
Savile Row and its surrounding areas are largely under The Pollen Estate’s stewardship. The London landlord owns the Burlington Street premises and is once again supporting Pop-Up Crisis, which was founded by Anda Rowland, director of Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard and Tom Stubbs, as a Christmas retail event to help the Crisis charity.
Since opening its doors on Savile Row in 2018, Pop-Up Crisis has raised over £500,000 to support the homeless across the UK.
Model David Gandy said: “I’ve been involved with Crisis for a number of years and greatly admire the incredible work the charity does to help end homelessness.
“The Crisis at Christmas Savile Row pop-up is an integral part of the festive calendar, and it’s an honour that pieces from my wardrobe will help to raise money for a great cause close to my heart.”
Liz Choonara, Executive Director of Commerce and Enterprise at Crisis, added: “Pop-Up Crisis has become a highlight in Crisis’ retail calendar. Having already raised over £500,000 for Crisis, since it began, it is considered a major fundraising event.
“We’re thrilled to once again partner with the Pop-Up Crisis team who – thanks to their generosity, drive, and enthusiasm and with the support of their fantastic friends and connections in the fashion world – are helping to change the lives of thousands of people experiencing homelessness.”
There will also be donations from music artist Jessie Ware and radio broadcaster and TV host Clara Amfo, and DJs Jonjo Jury and Bestley will be curating DJ sets in the shop throughout the week.

This Christmas, Crisis will once again be supporting over 6,000 people facing homelessness through its year-round services, hotels and health and wellbeing programmes.
In London, the charity will be opening hotels for people who would otherwise be sleeping rough, as well as day centres to provide additional support to people trapped in insecure living situations.
At the services, guests will be provided with companionship and hot meals, alongside access to advice and support on housing, employment and benefits to help people rebuild their lives away from homelessness.
