Pleasing teams up with JW Anderson on one of its “most special collaborations to date”

Pleasing, the apparel and cosmetics label Founded by Harry Styles, and JW Anderson, the British-based luxury fashion brand, have teamed up on a collection full to the brim of “colour, joy, excitement, and sensory experiences”.

Harry Styles and Jonathan Anderson have been longtime collaborators and supporters of one another. So, it was about time the two joined forces on a collaborative collection.

The Pleasing x JW Anderson capsule collection comprises apparel, accessories and nail polishes. Each piece is anchored by balloon imagery (a JW Anderson calling card) and stamped with both brands’ logos.

Standout pieces include JW Anderson’s Bumper Bag in an exclusive colourway and the Bunch of Balloons Knit Cardigan which nods to 2020’s viral moment when Harry Styles wore the JW Anderson Patchwork Cardigan on stage, now displayed at the V&A.

Pleasing’s signature sweatshirt has been reimagined through Anderson’s lens. Keeping in the theme of the collection, it’s adorned with a shiny mylar balloon dotting the ‘i’. Pleasing’s best-selling nail polishes–have also been updated in five metallic tones, seeing JW Anderson dip its toes into the world of beauty for the first time.

Shaun Kearney, CEO at Pleasing, said: “This partnership is a testament to the shared values of creativity, joy, and innovation that both our brands hold dear.

“Together, we’ve reimagined iconic designs through the lens of both brands, crafting a capsule that celebrates individuality, playfulness, and the vibrant communities that support us. We’re thrilled to introduce JW Anderson to the Pleasing community and to share this joyful collaboration with the world.”

Harry Lambert, Creative Director at Pleasing, added: “Founded on the back of friendship and mutual respect, this is one of our most special collaborations to date. JW Anderson is a brand we feel so aligned with in terms of point of view, creativity and energy – and has been a brand we’ve wanted to collaborate with for some time.

“The design process was inspiring and creative, yet considered, from the inception of each product to the packaging and visual assets. We’re excited to launch a colourful, joyous, exciting collection of products, and hope it brings our two communities as much happiness wearing it, as it brought us when creating it.”

The collection is available now on Pleasing.com and Jwanderson.com, followed by select stores. Prices range from £20 for a nail polish to £850 for the Bumper Bag.

This follows Pleasing’s collaboration with Disney Fantasia, which launched earlier this year. The highly-anticipated collaboration, which reimagined Disney’s iconic animation from the 1940s, was made up of 15 pieces of apparel, from hoodies to T-shirts and tote bags.
