Favorite clubs or events to meet new friends?

Hi everyone, I very recently moved and I’m looking to make friends here. I’m a young woman so I’d like to meet other women, but I’m not picky. I found a couple of events from Google searching like book clubs, and I’m going to start hiking and visiting places around the city, but is there anything you reccomend that you found success in?

I like video games, anime and reading. I’m pretty quiet and a workaholic but I’m trying to push myself out of my comfort zone. So maybe no sitting alone at a bar but I’m willing to try just about anything.
