Jennifer Lopez is the latest celebrity to model a warmer alternative to your sexiest going out look.
On November 24, the 55-year-old actor attended a celebratory brunch promoting her new film, Unstoppable. To mark the important, yet informal occasion, Lopez opted for a black pleated miniskirt that wasn’t much longer than the ultra-short bubble skirt she wore to another promotional event in late October.
However, instead of pairing this skirt with another sheer blouse and platform heels, stylists Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi went in a more structured direction with leather over-the-knee boots and an unexpected jacket.

Instead of your standard skirt suit, Lopez wore a black wool coat with gold button details, topped off with a thick belt and matching skirt by the French fashion brand Patou. (Though it might not be the exact coat, this one comes close.)
As for glam, Lopez turned up the volume of her espresso makeup look with striking black eyeliner, finishing everything off a black cherry manicure by celebrity nail artist Tom Bachick. Lopez shared a closer look at all these details over on Instagram — no caption necessary.
