Who is Maura Higgins?

Maura is an Irish model, TV personality and presenter who launched her career by appearing as a contestant on dating reality TV show Love Island.

What series of Love Island was Maura Higgins on?

She appeared on Love Island series 5 back in 2019, alongside fellow contestants such as Molly Mae and Tommy Fury, as well as her match Curtis Pritchard. Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea and Molly Mae and Tommy Fury were runners up while Maura and Curtis finished in fourth place.

What TV shows has Maura Higgins been on?

Before appearing on Love Island, Maura had taken part in various modelling campaigns, as well as the late Liam Payne‘s 2017 music video for Get Low. After her Love Island success, she appeared as an agony aunt on This Morning, as well as guest hosting Love Island USA and competing as a contestant on both Dancing On Ice and Cooking with the Stars. She has also been a guest panellist on Loose Women and is set to enter the acting world with a role in upcoming movie The Spin.

Who has Maura Higgins dated?

After leaving Love Island with Curtis Pritchard as her partner, the couple split in March 2020, with Maura’s friendship with Chris Taylor – a fellow Love Island bombshell that she entered the show alongside – becoming romantic in November 2020. The couple split in May 2021, with Maura expressing her feelings about it online.

In a statement, she said: “It breaks my heart to even type this, but I wanted to let everyone know that myself and Chris have made the joint decision to end our relationship. There is no wrongdoing on either side.
