Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2, Ending Explained

Netflix has made an art out of dropping bingeable instalments of its shows only to leave us hanging midway through a season — and Cobra Kai is no different. The second part of season 6 of the Karate Kid sequel just came to an end with a truly gripping finale that left us on the edges of our seats. And now, of course, we have to wait months to find out what happens next.

But first, let’s go over all of the shocking twists and turns of that final episode.

The Sekai Taikai semifinals approach

Things are heating up and the finals are approaching. As the finale begins, our list of contenders is shrinking.

Robby defeats Kwon (Brandon H. Lee) of Cobra Kai to reach the semifinals, while Samantha (Mary Mouser) also beats Tory (Peyton List) of Cobra Kai to reach the semis. However, at the last minute, Tory and Kwon are given a second chance in the semifinals after two competitors found to have taken performance-enhancing drugs.

Robby vs. Axel

Robby is paired with Axel in the semifinals and, let’s just say, things kick off. During the fight, Axel pushes Robby out of the ring and, before long, a full-scale brawl has broken out with all of the competitors from every dojo getting involved. We told you, tensions are high!

A shocking death

Things take an even more shocking turn when Kwon picks up a knife and goes for Axel. The pair fight and Kwon ends up on the mat, the knife lodged in his own chest. Needless to say, it’s a shocking end to an explosive instalment — and it sets up even more tension in the final part of season 6.
