Jennifer Lopez understood the assignment when she attended the Wicked premiere in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The singer, actor and entrepreneur looked like a sexy sorceress dressed in a high neck vintage-print embellished dress, made modern with side cut-outs and a thigh-high split. But, always one to deliver on the details, Jen gave us matching wrist cuffs, glittering strappy stilettos and a manicure custom made for the occasion.

Taking to Instagram to give us all the intel, Jen’s long-time manicurist, Tom Bachik, shared “@jlo’s wicked mani for the @wickedmovie premiere 🪄” naming the look “#moonstone nails”. The second slide shows a close-up of Jennifer’s manicure which shows an opalescent and iridescent white-grey toned chrome mani reflecting lilac, peach and blue in the light, just like a moonstone.
It was the perfect witchy tribute to the film she was there to celebrate, nodding to Glinda and Elphaba, but it’s also a very pretty colour to replicate, especially through the darker, witchier months.
As for how he created the look, Tom shared the details, noting he used the Apres Nails coffin tips in Maisie topped with Cosmic Chrome powders made by Tom himself – which he teased would be “coming soon”.
