Frasers Group-owned luxury fashion retailer Flannels has opened a new 20,000 sq ft store at the Midsummer Place Shopping Centre in Milton Keynes just as the busy Christmas trading period kicks in.
Flannels now has a portfolio of more than 80 stores in the UK and Ireland, as its dominance of being the “go to” place for luxury fashion brands across the country continues apace.
The opening comes hot off the heels of Flannels opening a new ‘league of its own’ 70,000 sq ft flagship store at 115-126 Briggate in Leeds last month, in what was a former Debenhams site.
It also follows last week’s news that Frasers Group will be closing down Philip Browne, the Norwich menswear independent it acquired from JD Sports in March 2023, in mid-December. Philip Browne’s fate was sealed when Flannels opened a 20,000 sq ft store at Chantry Place in Norwich at the end of April 2024.
The new Milton Keynes store is housing a curated selection of luxury and contemporary menswear, womenswear, and junior apparel, footwear and accessories. Brands include Balenciaga, Off-White, Stone Island, Vivienne Westwood, Represent, BOSS and New Balance.
Lauren Barrie, Group Head of Luxury & Premium at Frasers Group, said: “Flannels Milton Keynes brings our mission to extend luxury to every corner of the UK to life.
“Transforming the former Debenhams space into a modern luxury hub, we’re thrilled to be the go to luxury destination in Milton Keynes, meeting customers’ evolving needs with an engaging retail experience.”
