Is Black Friday a good day to buy jewellery?
If you’ve had your eye on something for a while but could never quite justify the price tag then Black Friday and Cyber Monday is the perfect time to treat yourself. Having said that, it’s easy to get swept up into the adrenaline of it all and add things to your basket that you don’t necessarily need or want. The thrill of a bargain is a dangerous one (just us?). With that, we recommend having a wishlist before you get started – or at least a general idea of what you’re shopping for – so you don’t get sidetracked through endless browsing.
The jewellery brands and retailers we tend to keep an eye on around Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the ones that rarely have sales. Why? Because these are the places that are most likely to have the biggest discounts but that also sell things of a higher quality. Take Astrid & Miyu and Monica Vinader, for example. These brands hardly ever have a sale on (bar the occasional discount code), so when Cyber Weekend swings round they go hard.
Want more jewellery content and gifting? Treat your loved one to a jewellery advent calendar from the best jewellers this year (it certainly beats a gift card). Plus for more discounts and exclusive offers, there’s the best Black Friday designer deals, sex toy deals and perfume deals to scope out too.
