Styling 2 FolaShocky T-Shirts For Autumn

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share this brand new blog post with you as it’s in collaboration with a cool new brand called FolaShocky (this is for both the guys and girls here as everything is unisex!). I was introduced to them a couple of weeks ago and they have some really cool designs that feature on t-shirts, sweatshirts, posters and more.

The brand’s ethos is creativity meets quality, making them a one stop shop for unique apparel that speaks to your individuality and lifestyle. Their mission is about bringing a splash of personality into your everyday essentials, turning those ordinary items into really cool expressions of who you are. This is what I noticed as soon as I headed to their website.

I will tell you a bit more about FolaShocky below, but first of all I want to share with you my styling. I chose two of their t-shirts, one with the quote ‘Enjoy the small things‘ as it spoke to me and really resonates with my own personality, along with me loving the font, and the second one was a cute little doggy drawing, with the saying ‘Paw Day‘, which was really unique and fun.

My Styling

Now when it comes to my styling here, I could have gone so many different ways since a t-shirt is the perfect base for any look. It was hard narrowing it down for this outfit blog post. I could have gone with a leather jacket, a pair of trousers (I did this for my Instagram reel), a skirt and tights… the choices are endless since a t-shirt works with anything, but I finally decided to do something autumn inspired, a little dressy, and unique at the same time.

I decided to style both of these FolaShocky t-shirts with the same outfit, showing that both white and black works with it (black is first, white is further down), and showcasing how easy it is to switch out different tees and make it versatile. So what was I wearing? I layered on my Reiss brown coat, tucked the tees into some black skinny jeans, and finished it off with my brown Loeffler Randall Isla booties, and my Celine Teen Triomphe Bag.

I think this look really stays true to my personal style. I love wearing skinny jeans, boots and classic coats, or any outfit that is classy and elegant, but I also love adding a little bit of uniqueness, which is where the t-shirt comes in. This ensemble could have looked great with a plain tee, but it wouldn’t be as fun and interesting as it is with the FolaShocky t-shirts – they really give it some personality.

We shot these photos on a really moist day, so unfortunately my new hair went frizzy! But these are the first outfit photos I’ve done with my new hairstyle that you saw last week. I think it adds a little more elegance and femininity to the photos actually.

It began with a simple idea: to create products that inspire joy and self-expression. There was a gap in the market for high-quality, creatively designed merchandise that caters to diverse tastes and preferences, so FolaShocky crafts items that are not just functional, but also fun and meaningful. I spoke to Fola himself and asked him what inspired him to start the brand, and this is what he told me:

“I started it because I wanted to add an additional take on contemporary fashion and decor (we also sell mugs and canvas art, for example). Growing up, I didn’t see people wear a large array of expressive clothing, which prompted me to make designs that would appeal to audiences because of their unique nature. For the calligraphy t-shirts, I resonated with the notion of wearing apparel which resonates with a person’s identity, as this can give them an increase in confidence and allows them to inspire thought in the minds of random passersby without needing to say anything. For the cartoon t-shirts, I wanted people of ages to feel comfortable wearing garments which would typically be associated with the younger generation, bridging the fashion gap and potentially removing the fear of judgement.”

I love this! As someone who has never been afraid to shop in the kids department for myself, I absolutely love expressing myself through my outfits. Every item that I choose is carefully thought out, resonates with my personality, and comes together to create a whole expressive look. I’m not always big on colour or statement pieces, but I love adding a pop of something to each ensemble that gives it a certain uniqueness.

If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I have always been a basic t-shirt kind of girl. They have mostly been staples for me underneath leather jackets, as you really cannot go wrong with a t-shirt. The important part is getting a higher quality one and making sure it lasts, and is environmentally friendly. That way you’re not going through so many t-shirts. So now that we have the styling and the brand story out of the way, lets get to the review!

Unisex Sizing

I took both of these FolaShocky t-shirts in size small and they fit true to size. I’d say this is equal to about a UK 8-10 or a US 4-6, for those of you wondering about sizing. The sleeves are a little longer, so they cover more of the arms, and these t-shirts are completely unisex! This is perfect since I know I have male readers as well as female! So finally I’m doing something for you guys too! The size chart works for both genders.

Designs

The two designs that I chose are my absolute favourites on the website! I love the black t-shirt with the quote on it the most though – it was the first t-shirt that I picked out. There’s literally something for everyone though within the designs. From cute and funny cartoons to mindful quotes, I’m sure there will be one that speaks to you! Fabric Quality

FolaShocky has quality at the heart of everything they do. From carefully selecting the finest materials and employing rigorous quality control processes, ensuring that every product they sell meets their high standards. When I first opened the package with my two t-shirts inside, I was met with a super soft, lightweight cotton blend that felt really nice to the touch. They are made with 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton that is easy to layer, and of course breathable. This makes these t-shirts perfect for leisure or activities. I’ve personally been wearing them for 4 days and they have been extremely comfortable and so soft! Also making them perfect sleep tees! Plus, wherever possible, they use eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices in their production processes.

Above was this autumnal outfit styled with the FolaShocky ‘Enjoy The Small Things’ t-shirt, which I think might be my favourite look out of the two, and now below you can see the same outfit, styled with the white ‘Paw Day’ t-shirt, giving it a bit more of a fun and youthful vibe. I find the black t-shirt to be a bit more classy and mature, while the white one is more casual and young. Both work so well!
