Alo Yoga has opened a new 6,738 sq ft store at 62 Grafton Street in Dublin, with thriving online sales in Ireland prompting the move.
The premium Los Angeles-based activewear brand opened its first UK store at 33 King’s Road in London in November 2023, following with a 10,000 sq ft flagship store at 150 Regent Street and another opening at 75 Brompton Road in August 2024.
This Friday, 20 December, will see another new Alo Yoga store opening at 25 Neal Street, on the corner of Earlham Street in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials.
Speaking about the new Dublin opening, Danny Harris, co-founder and co-CEO of Alo Yoga, said: “We’ve observed a strong enthusiasm for the Alo Yoga brand in Ireland through our online presence.
“As a social-first brand, this growing interest, coupled with the increasing focus on wellness and mindful living, makes Grafton Street, which is a premium shopping destination with a vibrant energy that aligns with our brand values, the ideal location to bring the full Alo Yoga experience to our Irish community.
“Our decision to bring Alo Yoga to Grafton Street in Dublin also reflects our commitment to connecting with wellness-focused communities worldwide.”
To celebrate the new store opening, Alo Yoga will be holding a series of special curated events and community classes including yoga, pilates, boxing and running clubs “that promise to infuse a touch of Los Angeles wellness into the heart of Ireland”.
Alo Yoga was founded in Los Angeles in 2007 and has “cultivated a dedicated community of celebrities and influential figures worldwide”, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Hailey Bieber, and Kia Geber.
An acronym for ‘Air, Land, and Ocean’, Alo has a “studio-to-street mentality that transcends fashion and goes beyond the mat”.
The brand has experienced increasing international demand for its products and anticipates continued growth as it expands into more physical locations worldwide.
