There is a small vintage store in a loft above a rug shop in Los Angeles, and that’s where Bella Hadid copped this major look. The supermodel and actress was papped leaving her hotel in New York City over the weekend dressed in this incredible tan suede two-piece suit set. Turns out, she got it from a girl you’ve probably seen on your For You Page.
Fashion and lifestyle influencer Grace Brinkly founded Hasbeen Vintage just a few short months ago, and just recently, she got a DM from Hadid’s stylist Molly Dickson, which she didn’t even see at first. “I didn’t think it was going to work out, and she ended up coming in, and they took quite a few things,” Brinkly said in a TikTok. “And I kind of thought nothing was going to come of it, but I was like, You know, if I end up with a picture [of Hadid wearing something from the shop], that would be amazing. Get this.”
In addition to the set, Brinkly showed off photos of some of the other things Hadid picked from her store. Among her selections were a pair of 1970s wide-leg vintage Levi’s, a black v-neck beaded top, a pair of black Roberto Cavalli pants with a floral waistband, a cropped black leather bomber, and a Zimmerman corset skirt. She also picked out a cream skirt from BluMarine that wasn’t originally stocked in the store, but upon hearing that Hadid was interested in looking through her selection, Brinkly brought it in from her personal wardrobe, thinking it might catch her eye as well.
Of course, Bella Hadid is not just a supermodel, but an off-the-runway style icon. She’s lauded for her taste in fashion and shopping, and if Hadid likes a store, that’s pretty much a one-way ticket to widespread popularity. The way that styling celebs often works is that anything that doesn’t get worn will likely be sent back to Hasbeen Vintage and will become available for everyone else to purchase.
