The lululemon Black Friday sale is up there with one of my favourites Cyber Week. TBH, despite having worked as a Shopping Editor for the past five years, I don’t usually buy a lot on Black Friday. I have a pretty strict list: pick up Black Friday Christmas gifts for my loved ones, then invest in a few select winter capsule wardrobe essentials (usually something from the Net-A-Porter Black Friday sale), and finally, buy some gym leggings from the lululemon Black Friday sale.
Over the past half-decade, I’ve tested the best in sports bras, gym leggings, running jackets and everything in-between to curate GLAMOUR’s fitness round-ups, and in my humble opinion, no other brand comes close to being as good as Lululemon is. The star of the show? Always the buttery-soft Align Pants, which – in select colour-ways – have been reduced to as little as £44 (from a full price of £88) today. Unheard of. You can see why I look forward to it.

GLAMOUR top lululemon deal: Align Pants
What is the lululemon Black Friday sale?
This Black Friday at Lululemon, you can get up to 64% (!) off select styles – 512 at the time of writing, to be exact. Sales are live across all product categories, including gym tops, leggings, hoodies, trainers and outerwear.
Lululemon Black Friday 2023 looked a bit like this: reductions of (in some cases) more than 50% across all lines – from Align to Groove, Pace and Sculpt. In 2022, the legendary activewear brand really came through with discounts of up to 67%. You could pick up Wunder Train tights, Groove pants, supportive sports bras and yoga accessories like yoga mats and gym bags for less.
What to shop in the lululemon Black Friday sale, according to a shopping editor:
Leggings, leggings and more leggings. No, seriously – I’ve tried and tested countless pairs of gym leggings as part of my job as a Shopping Editor, and Lululemon leggings are the ones I reach for every single time. As pictured above.
Align Pants are the best Lululemon leggings for lounging and yoga, crafted from super-soft Nulu fabric (which is so quick-drying), with minimal seams and four-way stretch. They’re buttery-soft and so lightweight you feel like you’re working out in nothing.
Elsewhere, Wunder Under leggings are best for weight training (they come in two leg lengths and have a back pocket for stowing away your keys), Wunder Train are best for sweaty workouts like HIIT and circuits, and the Fast & Free tights – or Base Pace, made from Nulux™ fabric that’s so smooth and lightweight – are the best pairs of running leggings on site.
A sports bra is obviously an athleisure essential, and Lululemon’s are epic. My favourite is their Flow Y Bra, which is light support and perfect for low-impact exercise. Or working from home. I find it so soft and comfortable, and it has kept its stretch after multiple washes, so I’ll definitely be restocking on Black Friday.
Elsewhere, you can also find styles designed for high-impact exercise, up to a cup size 42 DDD, or the Align tank top – which doubles up as a sports bra and gym top rather nicely.
On the topic of gym tops, I’d definitely recommend picking up the Swiftly Tech Long-Sleeve shirt if you’re keen on winter runs. It’s lightweight and breathable yet nicely warm, and the seamless construction means chafe is a thing of the past. It’s most certainly my go-to.
On the outerwear, it’s worth noting that Lulu – as of the last couple of years – stocks a lot of elevated casual wear, good enough to form the basis of any winter capsule wardrobe. They have longline puffer coats that are perfect for long dog walks, brunch and wearing over your activewear – as well as the Wunder Puff Cropped Vest which taps into the fashion set’s current obsession with chocolate brown hues.
